For the purpose of creating new tourist attractions, the Svaneti Destination Management Organization (Svaneti DMO) is conducting research and exploration for new hiking routes.

The Svaneti DMO team has surveyed and mapped out a new hiking trail route:

Ifari – Tsulari – Chkhutnieri

This route is distinguished by its unique panoramic views, combining, on one hand, the breathtaking sights of the Caucasus Mountains, and on the other, the Svaneti Ridge landscapes, along with many other fascinating natural wonders.

The trail will serve as a multi-use path, functioning not only for hiking but also for horseback riding and cycling.

It is noteworthy that the trail will also have a social and economic impact, as it will help promote communities that are currently less involved in tourism and encourage the development of new tourist attractions in the area.
